InstaPray is a prayer community platform for believers. We are currently in pre-launch. Our website allows you to learn about InstaPray and join a waitlist to be notified when the app becomes available.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide our services. What we collect depends on how you interact with InstaPray.

Waitlist information. When you join our waitlist, we collect your name, email address, and any optional message you choose to share (including prayer requests you submit through the waitlist form).

Future app information. When InstaPray launches, we may collect additional information such as account details, prayer requests, prayer interactions, and community participation. We will update this policy before or at launch to describe app-specific data practices in full.

Technical information. Like most websites, we may automatically receive basic technical data such as browser type, device type, and general usage information through our hosting and form providers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Manage our waitlist and notify you when InstaPray launches
• Respond to messages you send us
• Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services
• Facilitate prayer requests and community support within the app (when available)
• Protect the safety and integrity of our platform and users

We do not use your prayer content, personal information, or email address for advertising. We do not sell your data. Ever.

4. Anonymous Prayer Requests

Anonymity is a core part of InstaPray. When you choose to share a prayer request anonymously, your name will not be displayed to other users. We design our platform so that you control how much of your identity you reveal.

Please note that while we work to protect your anonymity within the community, no online service can guarantee absolute anonymity. We encourage you to share only what you are comfortable entrusting to a digital platform.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We use trusted third-party services to operate our website — for example, form submission processing (Formspree) and web hosting (Firebase). These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to perform their services.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of InstaPray, our users, or others.
• With your consent. We may share information when you explicitly ask us to or give us permission to do so.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — including maintaining your waitlist registration until launch, and thereafter as needed to provide our services or comply with legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your waitlist information at any time by contacting us (see Section 12).

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Object to or restrict certain processing

8. Children's Privacy

If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@instapray.app and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Users

InstaPray may be accessed from different countries. If you access our services from outside the country where our servers or service providers are located, your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations. By using our services, you consent to such transfer and processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
